911Translate (911T) is a company that provides translation services to individuals who are in need of communicating effectively with someone in a foreign language.
911 Translate was founded by Ed Fenne. When Ed and his wife moved from Wisconsin to Mexico, they realized that not being able to speak Spanish was a huge hindrance. Since they couldn’t understand the natives or read signs at the store, they ended up buying items they didn’t need or want. They always arrived to every event late only because they were not fluent in a foreign language. Ed decided to call his friend who spoke Spanish very fluently. His friend meditated between Ed and the locals whenever Ed needed assistance.
Ed’s problems were relieved until one day he was traveling through a town in Mexico, and his van broke down. He called his insurance agency, and they immediately sent a tow truck to come to his rescue.
